As an artist, Edward dabbled in painting, ceramics, metalworking, photography, and woodworking, but his heart lies with drawing. While he is certainly influenced by all of these other forms of art, at the end of the day, Edward is primarily a 2D artist. However, after learning through working traditionally and digitally, he has regressed his work to the purest essence of drawing. Edward's work is now based in paper-cutting, and he draws with a knife. The use of the knife makes him prioritize boldness in his line-making and decisive positive and negative space. Also, through the limitation of color and the definitive nature of space, Edward's art has become a meditative practice for him, as he creates spaces between spaces, one line at a time.
